Built a production-ready multi-agent AI content automation system that manages the complete blog creation workflow — from topic discovery to research, writing, quality review, visual generation, and final human approval.
The system runs automatically on a scheduled workflow and coordinates specialized AI agents for each stage:
- Topic Discovery: Finds and scores relevant content opportunities based on demand, relevance, and source quality.
- Research Agent: Prioritizes authoritative sources and removes unsupported claims.
- Writing Agent: Produces structured, SEO-focused long-form content.
- Quality Review Agents: Independently review factual accuracy, code examples, SEO quality, readability, and AI-generated content patterns.
- Visual Generation: Creates relevant featured and in-article visuals automatically.
- Human Approval: Final content is saved as a draft so nothing is published without review.
The system also includes strict quality gates, revision controls, failure handling, duplicate-topic prevention, and automated workflow monitoring.
A key engineering challenge was coordinating multiple agents without creating endless review loops. The solution combines AI reasoning with deterministic application-level rules, ensuring reviewers only evaluate relevant changes and that every workflow eventually reaches a clear pass, revision, or failure state.
